I started this blog because I had entered a few challenges from other
blogs, and most of them require that you post your entry from your own
blog... blog, blog, blog. This is kind of annoying because one of the
reasons I love to scrapbook is that I can do something that does NOT
involve the computer (not including of course, shopping for scrapbook
stuff, looking for scrapbook challenges, and being obsessed with
Pinterest). I had my fellow scrapping buddy (and blogger), La-Vie,
post a challenge for me on her blog, but she told me I had to do my own
when I asked her again (I have some special words for her, but I guess I
should not use profanity in this forum).
If you
somehow found my blog (I feel like I'm saying "blog" a lot), well,
"Hey!". Thanks for checking out my blog. You don't have to worry about
getting constant notices about updates to this blog (again - darn it),
as I have no idea how often I will be posting. You know how it is when
you scrapbook - sometimes you're on a roll, sometimes not. Also, I haven't mastered the art of photographing my projects too great... sorry about that.
My
favorite creations are scrapbook layouts and mini albums. I only do
cards when forced to by fellow scrappers. I mean, they're cute and
all... but yeah, no. And I'm not a huge stamper (although I do own some
stamps), I've committed to trying to stamp more, maybe I'll blog about
it.
My favorite scrapbook item is paper. I'm a paper ho. I love all paper. Always have, even as a kid, I loved stationery sets, cards, wrapping gifts, so it makes sense that I would fall in love with scrapbooking. Some (and there are many) of my favorite paper companies are: BasicGrey, Authentique, Crate Paper, My Minds Eye, Bella Blvd, SEI... you get the idea.
Okay, well, wish me luck in my challenges - I need to win something!
